Project Overview: Hive International, LLC (“Hive”) is a sub grantee to the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) on a Cooperative Agreement with our INL client in Guatemala. Hive provides project management, logistics, and technical advisory services supporting Guatemala’s National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) implementation of a project to Increase the Use of Scientific Evidence in Criminal Cases.

Position Description:
This is a full-time Project Manager position with Hive focusing approximately half time managing the INL Guatemala grant and half time contributing to other Hive projects, internal initiatives, business development efforts, and technical writing. The position will be based in the Washington, DC metro area with a combination of remote and in office work with potential domestic and international travel.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Leads project and oversees Hive project staff; performs day-to-day coordination with INL, PADF, and other project stakeholders
- Maintains close communications and collaborative working relationship with PADF and INL clients; responds promptly to tasks and data requests from clients and stakeholders
- Oversees development and maintenance of relationships with project stakeholders
- Develops and submits project reporting and coordinates other deliverables; ensuring deliverables meet INL standards and are delivered on time
- Supports weekly, monthly, and quarterly report development, record-keeping, administrative support, and internal administrative requirements
- Coordinates with PADF to plan activities and trainings and ensure smooth delivery
- Conducts procurement of equipment and supplies and oversees all activity and travel logistics
- Supports and leads other Hive projects, business development efforts, and strategic planning initiatives as required
Required Qualifications:
- Professional Fluency in English and Spanish – speaking, reading, writing
- Ability to read, write, and edit technical documents in Spanish, checking for grammar and ease of usability.
- Degree in international relations, criminal justice, political science, or similar, with 5-7 years of experience
- Experience implementing projects and international engagements with the Department of State or other relevant US Government or Non-Governmental Organization
- Ability to communicate and interact with foreign audiences from a variety of different regions and cultures and experience working in a culturally diverse environment
- Highly detail oriented with exceptional technical writing skills
- Analytical skills including program monitoring and evaluation, technical and financial metrics, program/project data analysis
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) or Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- PMP and/or 3 years of project management experience
- Advanced degree in a related field and experience working with/for DoS, particularly INL and/or law enforcement community
- Experience coordinating logistics for and managing international trainings and exchanges; experience working, studying, or living abroad
- Experience with business development and proposal writing
